2. Description of the Service

Cardboard Review is an independent fan and review website that curates and publishes deals, discount codes, and promotional offers for trading card game (TCG) products, including but not limited to Magic: The Gathering, Pokémon, and Yu-Gi-Oh!, from third-party merchants across Germany and other European countries.

The Website also publishes editorial content such as guides, reviews, and Top-10 lists, and offers optional user accounts, deal submissions, community voting, and email deal alerts.

Cardboard Review is not a merchant, retailer, or seller of any products displayed on the Website. All purchases are made directly with the respective third-party merchant under that merchant’s own terms and conditions.

3. No Warranty Regarding Third-Party Deals

Deals, prices, discount codes, and availability shown on the Website are provided by third-party merchants and affiliate partners and are subject to change without notice.

We make reasonable efforts to keep information accurate and up to date but do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, availability, or validity of any deal, price, or discount code at any given time.

Please always verify the final price and terms on the merchant’s own website before purchasing.

We accept no liability for losses arising from expired discount codes, price changes, out-of-stock items, shipping issues, or any other matter within the merchant’s control.

4. Affiliate Disclosure

Some links on the Website are affiliate links. If you click such a link and complete a purchase, we may receive a commission from the merchant or affiliate network at no additional cost to you.

6. Deal Submissions and User-Generated Content

Registered users may submit deals (product title, link, prices, discount code, images, etc.) for publication on the Website (“Submitted Content”).

By submitting content, you confirm that:

• You have the right to share the information and any images submitted.
• The information is accurate and not misleading to the best of your knowledge.
• The submission does not infringe any third party’s intellectual property, trademark, or other rights.

By submitting content, you grant Cardboard Review a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, revocable license to display, edit, format, and distribute the Submitted Content on the Website and associated social media channels.

We reserve the right to review, edit, reject, or remove any Submitted Content at our sole discretion, particularly where it is inaccurate, spam, promotional abuse, or violates these Terms or applicable law.

We do not pay for user-submitted deals unless explicitly agreed otherwise in writing.

7. Community Voting

Registered users may vote on whether a deal “worked” or rate its relevance (“temperature”). Votes influence the visibility and ranking of deals on the Website.

We reserve the right to remove votes or restrict voting privileges in cases of manipulation, bot activity, or abuse.

8. Newsletter / Deal Alerts

If you subscribe to deal alerts, you will receive emails about deals matching your selected categories.

You may unsubscribe at any time using the link included in every email. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for details on data processing.

9. Intellectual Property

10. Prohibited Use

You agree not to:

• Submit false, fraudulent, or deliberately misleading deals.
• Use bots, scripts, or automated means to submit deals or manipulate votes.

11. Limitation of Liability

11.1

We are liable without limitation for damages resulting from injury to life, body, or health caused by us, and for damages resulting from intentional or grossly negligent breach of duty, as well as under mandatory statutory liability.

For damages resulting from the slightly negligent breach of a material contractual obligation, our liability is limited to foreseeable damages typical for this type of contract.

11.3

Beyond that, liability for slightly negligent breaches of duty is excluded, particularly for indirect damages, lost profits, or damages arising from deals, prices, or offers displayed by third-party merchants.

We assume no liability for the content, availability, or security of external websites linked from the Website.

12. Availability

We strive to keep the Website available and functioning but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability.

We may temporarily restrict or suspend access for maintenance, security, or technical reasons.

Mandatory consumer protection provisions of your country of residence (if you are a consumer within the EU) remain unaffected.

To the extent legally permissible, the place of jurisdiction for disputes with merchants (non-consumers) is Göppingen, Germany.

16. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is or becomes invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions shall not be affected.
